Hugh Doggett Scott (through Lewis), Debra Frieden (through Haynie), George H. Bush, are related to George Washington.

 Uncle Hugh's father is Hugh Doggett Scott Sr.  His mother was Ms. Jennie Lee Lewis.  She died at a young age.  This line leads to Fielding Lewis. 

Hugh Doggett Sr. remarried, Lola Fitzallen Haynie of Lively, Lancaster County, Virginia.  Lola Fitzallen Haynie is descended from the Washington and Ball family lines.  This fact makes our history interesting because, Hugh Doggett Sr. chose wives who were both related to the Washington/Ball families of Virginia.  Therefore, we are all related to George Washington and family, in some capacity.

I am born of the Hugh Doggett Scott Sr. and Lola Fitzallen Haynie union, I follow the line to Washington through Haynie.  This would apply to any and all bloodline descendants of Alice Scott Hill or Norman Cunningham Scott.
